The St. Michael Parish Prayer Shawl Ministry brings together people who share a similar interest in knitting and crocheting for fellowship and prayer while using their giftedness to create prayer shawls, lap robes, baby blankets, and other items that will be given away to help spread the message of God's mercy, love, and compassion.
Rosary Makers regular meeting is held on the third Tuesday of each month 6:30-7:30 p.m. at St. Monica Hall. For more information please call Sandra Jean at 207-622-2761 or Sue Thomas at 207-458-0272. St. Michael Parish partners with other faith communities to prepare and serve a free breakfast for our neighbors who are unhoused and others in need every third Saturday of the month at The Unitarian Universalist Community Church 69 Winthrop Street, Augusta. How Can I Help? You can help by: (1) volunteering for two hours to prepare, set-up, serve, or clean-up at a meal, (2) dropping-off homemade baked goods at a meal, or (3) making a monetary donation to the St. Michael Parish Food Ministry Programs. The Knights of Columbus Council 334 will be saying the Rosary on the last Sunday of each month before the 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Augustine Church. We will begin at 10:00 a.m.
