• Those interested in becoming a Guardian can fill out a Guardian form provided at the Chapel.  
• The Grand Opening of the chapel (with expanded hours) will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2026, on the Feast of Corpus Christi. More info to follow as planning continues.

St Monica Chapel is currently a lovely space.  However, to truly make it accessible and worthy of the goal of becoming a "perpetual" adoration chapel we need to do some work!  Our goal is to officially open our new Chapel by the Feast of Corpus Christi in June of 2026.  

December 2025 Project UPDATE:

• Door replaced and security entrance panel with video monitoring installed.
• Chapel wall repaired and fresh paint applied. 
• The addition of decorative draperies.
• The addition of a beautiful, custom-built oak cabinet to house the monstrance during adoration, with a built-in tabernacle to repose the Eucharist. 
• Upgraded lighting to highlight the monstrance.
• New outdoor sign with lighting.  

• Mural (theme TBD) on back wall surrounding the monstrance cabinet. 
• Low maintenance plants and other décor. 
• Repairs to pews and kneelers.
• Replacement of flooring.
• Donation Box. 
• Sign-In Kiosk.
• Chat room” to provide patrons a place to have discreet conversations without disturbing the Chapel silence.

We envision that bringing this Chapel to fruition will provide other benefits for our Parish, and creative opportunities for faith sharing and worship, such as:

• Hosting special events like speakers and holy hours run by parishioners dedicated to different subjects like “Family Holy Hours”, “Home School Holy Hours”, “Holy Hours in support of our priests”, etc.
• A re-invigorated congregation fed by the Holy Spirit in frequent Adoration.
• A self-sustaining Chapel, not burdening our parish budget or staff, run by donations and volunteers that grows over time.
• A Chapel used not only by our Parishioners, but as word gets out, those of other Parishes and even faith traditions, who are traveling through our area.
• Expanded hours of Adoration, with the goal of, God willing, ramping up to being the state’s only (as far as we know) perpetual adoration chapel, open 24/7.
