St. Michael Parish partners with other faith communities to prepare and serve a free breakfast for our neighbors who are unhoused and others in need every third Saturday of the month at The Unitarian Universalist Community Church 69 Winthrop Street, Augusta. How Can I Help? You can help by: (1) volunteering for two hours to prepare, set-up, serve, or clean-up at a meal, (2) dropping-off homemade baked goods at a meal, or (3) making a monetary donation to the St. Michael Parish Food Ministry Programs. The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program is hosting Materials Making Nights on Mondays, July 20-August 17, 3:00-6:00pm at Sacred Heart Hall in Hallowell.
This is an opportunity for any parishioners who like to paint, write or draw to contribute their talents to our beautiful CGS faith formation program!
The St. Michael Parish Prayer Shawl Ministry brings together people who share a similar interest in knitting and crocheting for fellowship and prayer while using their giftedness to create prayer shawls, lap robes, baby blankets, and other items that will be given away to help spread the message of God's mercy, love, and compassion.
Rosary Makers regular meeting is held on the third Tuesday of each month 6:30-7:30 p.m. at St. Monica Hall. For more information please call Sandra Jean at 207-622-2761 or Sue Thomas at 207-458-0272.
